Welcome to Room 13's Blog Page. This term we are developing a positive classroom environment through a variety of activities. We have already co-constructed our classroom Treaty where we have all contributed our ideas and know how we want to be respected.
So far we have had a walk to Omanu Beach and built sandcastles and spent some fun time getting to know each other. We have also been doing team building activities for physical education.
We are also writing our own Mihi and learning a lot about ourselves and each other through a variety of postive classroom activities.

Mangatawa Syndicate is very fortunate to have three other innovative teachers with a real passion for providing the best learning opportunities and experiences for our children. They are Hayley Hikairo in room 20, Lee Steer in room 21 and Amaya Hughes in our bilingual year 3/4 class.
